Children's Telehealth Speech Therapy (Online Consults)
Connecting Dots For Kids now offers telehealth services. A Telehealth session is a virtual face-to-face appointment, conducted via a video or telephone call. Telehealth is an alternative way of delivering effective evidence-based speech pathology practice that allows you to access services from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a computer or ipad and a reliable internet connection, and a member of our team is able to provide therapy online. At other times, check in phone calls and parent coaching are the most appropriate ways for us to provide Telehealth services.
Telehealth is a great option for some families as it allows for fun and engaging speech pathology services without the driving to clinic or additional charges for a therapist to travel to see your child. It also allows children living in rural communities access to services typically outside of their reach. All therapists at Connecting Dots For Kids committed to and experienced in delivering telehealth services.
With recent developments relating to COVID-19, Telehealth has quickly become a fast, easy and reliable way for ensuring your child continues to have access to speech pathology services and supports necessary to help them achieve their goals. It ensures the health and safety of the children we see, their families, our therapists and the greater community.
