Phoebe Wainer, Speech Pathologist | Connecting Dots for Kids

Phoebe Wainer

Speech Pathologist

Hello everyone, my name is Phoebe Wainer and I look forward to working with you.

I received my degree through La Trobe University and am a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist through Speech Pathology Australia. I have worked with children in a range of settings including hospital, early intervention, home visits, school and private practice. Evidence based practice guides all my clinical decision making with a focus on fun, engaging, play-based activities.

I love working with families to learn more about the children I see, to identify goals that would be functional and practical to everyday life and to help them develop strategies that allow your child to develop their skills and confidence. I have experience working with children with a wide range of concerns and am passionate about holistic speech pathologist services that empower and engage. I have completed additional training in Hanen, ReST, sensory regulation, literacy, social skills, paediatric feeding and fluency.

When I’m not at work, I am with my husband and three children exploring Gippsland, gardening, reading or cooking. I have three very energetic girls – two primary school aged girls and one tiny pocket rocket at home. I live in Warragul and am passionate about this region. I am the vice president of Warragul Farmers Market, love participating in a local book club or entertaining at home. I look forward to meeting and learning more about you.
