Hi there. My name is Lydelle and I am the director of Connecting Dots for Kids. I spend a lot of my time supporting our team and developing our services but still enjoy the time I work directly with children and families.
I use my specialist training in all areas of communication, additional studies in Inclusive Education and Linguistics and my hands on experience to change kid’s lives by improving their communication. My experience includes helping hundreds of children to speak clearly, understand instructions, have conversations, and build relationships. My flexible approach gets reluctant kids learning and developing skills without realising it. The children enjoy learning and becoming successful communicators, parents gain confidence supporting their child’s development, and the whole family benefits from stronger connections as a result.
Outside of my work life, I am married and have two primary school aged children. I live in Drouin and love being part of our local community, including our church family at Drouin Presbyterian Church and many visiting seasonal workers from Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands. Our family love entertaining guests at our home, exploring many of our lovely natural sites and playgrounds in Gippsland. For down time, I enjoy being creative with cross stitch, cooking, and colouring.
